Parent / Guardian Consent
Information for parents and guardians of minor athletes
Consent is managed through the USI Hub. When you enroll your child at theuniquescholars.institute, parental consent is collected as part of the registration process. This site does not independently collect consent.
Why Consent Matters
US Athletic Fuel serves athletes ages 8–24, including minors under 18. We are committed to protecting the privacy and safety of all participants, especially children. Parental consent ensures guardians understand what data is collected, how it is used, and how the training program operates.
How Consent Works
- Ages 8–12 (COPPA range): Registration requires verifiable parental consent through the USI Hub. These athletes access the platform through a parent/guardian-mediated account.
- Ages 13–17: Parental consent is obtained during enrollment. The parent/guardian can view progress, communication, and training activity through their own dashboard.
- Ages 18–24 (Collegiate): Participants manage their own accounts. No parental consent is required.
What Information Is Involved
Through the USI Hub and this site, we handle:
- Identity: Name, age group, and role — managed by the USI Hub (no local passwords stored).
- Profile: Sport, activity level, training preferences, and enrollment selections.
- Progress: Daily logs, assessment scores, hydration tracking, session check-ins.
Parent / Guardian Access
Parents and guardians can sign into the platform with their own USI Access Code or credentials to view their child’s progress, linked assessments, and training activity. They can also request data access, correction, or deletion by contacting USI through the Trust Center.
Revoking Consent
Parents and guardians may revoke consent at any time by contacting The Unique Scholars Institute. Upon revocation, the minor’s account will be deactivated and associated data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with the USI Privacy Policy.
